Tormek Water Trough for T-8 Sharpening System

If your old water trough is worn out, simply replace it with this Water Trough for continued efficiency. This water trough is designed to keep your water-cooled sharpening system running smoothly. It retains water in the system and cools your tool's steel, preventing it from losing its temper. Additionally, it leads away steel particles and grindstone dust, ensuring you don't breathe them in. The Water Trough for the Tormek T-8 has a built-in magnet that effectively traps steel particles while you sharpen, keeping your grinding wheel cleaner and preventing clogging. These particles can otherwise be pressed into the surface layer of the grinding wheel and impair its abrasive properties. The steel particles are all collected at the magnet when you empty the water trough. You can easily scrape off the steel particles using the scraper that attaches magnetically to the outside of the water trough. Note that the magnetic scraper is not included in this replacement Water Trough, so make sure to keep the scraper from your previous water trough. The Water Trough is easy to install on the screw lift mounts and is compatible with the T-8 Original and T-8 Custom.
