Hultafors 4 Piece Heavy Duty Chisel Set

The set comprises 20, 25, 32 and 40mm chisels. Each one is a unique one-piece drop forging featuring an I-beam through-tang. The handles finish with a steel top bolster topped with a nylon-striking cap. These are chisels made to be extremely strong and durable for heavy duty usage. There is a lot of high quality steel in these chisels, making them somewhat heavier than the standard equivalent. However, the design ensures each one feels well balanced and is easy to manipulate and control. An HDC Chisel is a heavy-duty, sharp tool, ready for tasks requiring both strength and precision. The alignment of the back of the chisel and handle, allows them to lie flat on a surface. They can make paring cuts in the middle of a wide panel and prise or separate without damaging the surface below. The arrangement means you can make deep cuts in a large mortice without interference from the handles. Each chisel has a Santoprene handle offering a firm non-slip grip for both power and precision. Instead of a simple blade guard, the chisels come in a durable PP holster. The holsters feature a belt clip, a window giving a view of the chisel’s size and ventilation holes to prevent corrosion.
