Axminster Workshop AW1400B Bandsaw - 230V

The Axminster Workshop AW1400B bench mounted bandsaw is designed for the small workshop and easily moved when not in use. It features a strong welded steel chassis with a cast iron table. It will take blades from 4.8 to 9.5mm wide. Bearing blade guides and thrust bearing provide maximum blade control for improved accuracy over similar entry level bandsaws. The top guide blade has a rack and pinion height adjustment, giving a maximum of 80mm depth of cut. It has a direct drive motor and balanced cast alloy wheels. The top wheel is mounted in a welded steel sub frame with blade tensioning and tracking controls conveniently close. A single dust outlet port provides efficient dust removal when connected to a suitable vacuum extractor, which must be recommended for increased cutting performance. The machine is supplied with a 6mm x 6tpi general purpose blade made from UK manufactured stock. A selection of different blades are available to suit many jobs. An optional mitre fence is available to fit this bandsaw (sold separately). This is a superb small bandsaw for a hobby or craft workshop or as an additional machine for smaller work.
