Axminster Professional AP150BS Belt Sander - 230V

The AP150BS is a strong, robustly built belt sander, fabricated from heavy gauge steel plate and cast iron components. It provides good versatility, the belt arm can be used in any position from horizontal to vertical. The belt arm pivots around a very large flange with a graduated scale with the outer end of the belt drive roller supported in its own ball bearing assembly. Fitted with a very comprehensive guarding system that allows you to expose only the amount of sanding belt required, but still allows very easy changes of the belts. This machine has a large cast iron sanding table, which gives great support and tilts from -15° to +45°. If used as a linisher in the horizontal position, the guarding can be removed to expose the maximum amount of belt, a fixed work stop is provided. The close fitting guarding coupled with two 62mm dust outlets offers effective extraction when attached to a suitable fine dust collector. Uses standard 150 x 1,220mm abrasive belts. Supplied with one belt.
