Button Fix Type 3

The Button Fix Type 3 is a perfect solution to connecting wall and ceiling parallel panels easily. Offering a simple push/pull off action, the Type 3 fixing is ideal for wall and ceiling panels, boat interiors, acoustic panels, upholstered panels and panels that may be in tight spaces, where a sliding fixing may not be suitable. These strong fixings are moulded from PBT and the button is acetal, to ensure durability. The Button Fix Type 3 is attached to the back of one panel, whilst the button is attached to the other. This allows for the panels to simply be pushed together until they click. The button has flexible fingers, which centres the screw and allows the button to float to take up any tolerance. Pan head or flange head screws are recommended. They can be surface mounted, or semi-rebated. Four fasteners on a vertical panel can support up to 60kg and up to 10kg for a ceiling panel, provided the screws and substrate are correctly matched and instructions have been followed accurately. As the Button Fix Type 3 creates the same installation gap between panels as the Type 1 Fix, they can be used alongside each other. Button Fix Type 3 are manufactured in the UK.
