    Description

Pocket hole joinery is all about making strong joints that are fast and easy to produce with a hidden joint. They are produced using a jig and drilling a hole at an angle into one workpiece. This is then joined to a second workpiece with a hardened steel self-tapping screw. SPEED – eliminates the need to pre-drill the mating workpiece. STRENGTH – screw acts as an internal clamp and is stronger than a biscuit, dowel or tenon. GRIP – constant clamping force combined with today’s glue technology makes for an incredibly strong wood-to-wood bond. Material: Zinc plated steel screws made to DIN 1.1133 Thread Type: The fine thread screw suits hardwood such as oak, maple, walnut and cherry. Head Style: All UJK screws use Torx T20, chosen to provide the best grip possible. Washer Head style provides the largest amount of surface area to seat firmly in the bottom of the pocket, especially for plywood or pine and ensures that the screw is not overdriven. Material thickness: Use 25mm screws to join 13mm to 19mm thick timber, 30mm screws to join 19mm to 22mm thick timber. Suitable for use with pocket hole jigs including Kreg®.N.B. Please remember to always use a drill driver fitted with a clutch, using the lowest clutch setting required to do the job
