Suitable for all mains drills with a 43mm diameter collar, these are convenient aids for drilling of vertical holes. Typical applications are dowel drilling or kitchen door hinges. A vee groove in the base gives a location for drilling cylindrical items. The guide rods can be set to protrude beyond the level of the base, so the guide can be used to automatically centre on an edge, very useful when undertaking tasks such as drilling a door in order to fit a lock for example. The base is pre-drilled to enable you to fit a custom made sub-base or fence for consistent location.
