These Sapele wood handles look good on any plane. We offer these as a complete kit: front knob, rear tote and necessary hardware. This particular set fits No.4 smoothing planes, which do not have a toe screw in the rear tote. This is all you need in the handle department for a restoration or renovation project to bring an old plane back to life. As an upgrade for a new plane, wood has a far better feel and is far more comfortable than the plastic handles found on some modern planes.-bg
